Hey there! I’m Bryson and this is my story of my road to healing. The above picture is a year apart in time and the result of my transitioning to a completely Raw Vegan Diet.
My background is filled with unsettling and uncomfortable forms of illnesses. Since I was a child, I had asthma, severe eczema, allergies, irritable skin, bad acne, and stomach ulcers. With that laundry list of health problems, daily relief was plain out of sight for most of my growing up. Into my adulthood, some of those issues got worse once compiled with injuries from football and my time at school at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina.
Everyday I woke up in pain from sciatic nerve damage, two herniated disks in my lower back, two rotator cuff tears, and a cyst in my left shoulder. Sleeping was hard, performing was even harder, and envisioning a pain-free future was non-existent. I was only functioning by bearing through pain on a regular basis and pretending like everything was fine.
My diet for the majority of my life consisted of tons of bread, milk, cheese, and meat- you know, the usual for “southern comfort” combined with Romanian traditions. I obtained my degree in Health Exercise and Sports Science, where I learned about conventional nutrition and wellness. So once I had my choices for food, I strived to eat lean; chicken and vegetables sort of meals, also going to the gym often to stay “fit”.
A Window of Opportunity
It wasn’t until I met Bianca that I was introduced to a vegan lifestyle. She cooked so many wonderful vegan meals that it was easy to leave meat, dairy, and eggs behind. But I still had sleeping issues, pain, allergies, and skin sensitivities that lingered. She threw around the idea of going Raw Vegan as a joke a few months into our relationship. We never really thought it would be a big transition we would make for a few years.
Magically overnight within a few months of talking about the idea jokingly, she developed an affinity to start incorporating Raw Foods into our lifestyle. Little by little, we were slowly taking out cooked foods and replacing meals with Raw or High Raw options. After a month, we were full blown Raw Vegan and some things started to change for both of us dramatically.
Ever since then it’s as if a miracle has occurred
After only a few weeks, I had zero signs of asthma and I made it through spring without any trauma or use of an inhaler! Usually the season takes over, leaving me hospitalized, sent to the infirmary, or loaded up on medication just to make it through sinus season. I’m now medication and allergy free, breathing easier than ever! Everyday there is so much relief without the suffering I underwent for so many years.
And my body? My joint issues, along with my shoulder and back pains, had been inflamed for many years from the acidity in my diet prior to my transition. After eating vegan and transitioning to Raw Vegan for just ONE year, the fat on my body started to fall off… all 90 pounds of it! Along with that, disappeared all of my other issues. My joint, shoulder, and back pains dissipated until dissolved completely. My skin problems are long gone. I feel and look younger than ever before! Even my eyesight has improved.
The Ideal Diet
As an individual with my experience in sports, science, and nutrition, I’ve worked for years to find the ideal diet for overall health. I found that and more with a Raw Vegan diet. It has improved so much of my life inside and out.
I am actually able to sleep at night and go through the day alleviated from all the discomfort that I carried for years. I look forward to the start of each day. My physical and metaphysical life have shifted to such a blissful state, it’s invigorating! I get so excited to share my truth and healing with everyone because my story is proof enough of true transformation and healing. And everyone deserves to feel this well!
Knowing what we do about the science behind a Raw Food diet reinforces the experience I have on it. Cellular regeneration with living foods is possible for anyone seeking dramatic transformation and healing. A Raw Vegan lifestyle offers true liberation and wellness.
I’ve left behind the life of choosing nutrient deficient foods to feel the life force that we consume in every meal! Let my story be just an inspiration to those seeking deep and honest change within their life. There is hope and I believe everyone can experience a transformation like mine. The person I am today is attributed to the lifestyle I live eating Raw Food regularly. It’s an honor to live my fullest life through Raw Veganism and a joy to share my experience with you.
