Easy Raw Vegan Pumpkin Purée

The holidays are near! And so is Pumpkin Pie Season! In Raw Cuisine, it can be difficult to find high quality products to use when making delicious renditions of Seasonal Classics, such as the beloved Pumpkin Pie. When we walked into Autumn’s infamous Pumpkin Season, we were thrilled to explore the versatility that Pumpkins could inspire in Raw Food!

And why buy canned purée (or canned anything) when you can make it yourself?! The intention that goes into the food becomes what you consume. Having integrity and patience in all that you create in the kitchen pays off energetically when it comes down to it. Haven’t you ever heard that LOVE is the best ingredient when cooking? Well it’s true! The more love you put into something, the more love you’re eating!

So hopefully you’ll love being able to create your own Raw Vegan Pumpkin Purée with all that extra Jack-O-Lantern you’ve got left from carving this year. We’ve got a slew of recipes we’ll be posting in the coming weeks that you’ll be able to use this one on. With no exception to the Fall Favorite in our No-Bake Healthy Pumpkin Pie! With this purée you can whip it up quick and jar it in the fridge to last a week or the freezer if you need it to store for longer (maybe you want to hold out until Thanksgiving…We see you Fam… Good Strategy.)

There’s plenty of cookies and other desserts to be made from this that you can include in any recipes you already know and love too! We know this purée is the perfect substitute to any store bought cans that’s higher on the health scale, just in time for when it matters the most!

Easy Raw Vegan Pumpkin Purée

  • Servings: 4-6

An Easy Completely Raw Vegan Pumpkin Purée to use in any Pumpkin Recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Carving Pumpkin (Diced) *the gooier center pieces are the best
  • 1/8 cup Coconut Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Medjool Dates (3-4 total)

Directions

  1. Add ingredients into high speed blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Place into airtight jar to store in refrigerator (5-7 Days) or freezer (One Month) until use.

Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp Cardamom
  • 1 Tbsp Nutmeg
  • 1 Tsp Allspice
  • 1 Tsp Ground Clove
  • 2 Tbsp Ground Ginger
  • Sprinkle Coconut Sugar

Directions

  1. Measure out spices and combine.
  2. Store in airtight container to keep fresh.
